Future of Paranoid. + Roadmap for EOY
Paranoid will No longer be getting the 11 day cycle of updates as the project is purely passion based and I would want to spend as much time as I can on creating meaningful updates to the game and I was able to with ease since my job at home was feasible enough for me to continue giving lengthy updates to the game, unfortunately my time on this project will be shortened due to picking up more hours in my work, for the time being updates will be more sporadic I wont completely cut of the games support expect some delay with the time being said and I could probably fathom updates hopefully in the future more consistently throughout the end of this year.
Updates in place that are still in working for the 1.0 release of the game are in importance order:
1) set ability types for the enemies as well as interactable used for later in the campaign
2) Animation and 2D art sprites to be remade as well as new models in place
3) modelling rooms in Maya/Blender (I have more of a programming background so this may take longer)
4) wanted to add more interactivity to the baseplate of the map as the map is limited in size the interaction of anything in the game would help with not only immersiveness but help with future development as we add more enemies in game.
5) There seems to be a minor issue in the game causing the computer model to freak out and some questions just fixing that one soon.
6) and hopefully last add some cosmetic changes to how the game runs to add more interaction like notes scattered on map as well as in the game folder being able to add your own files to access on the in game computer viewer UI.
all these changes should be added to the game hopefully by the end of the year. So for now as I am writing this you will see updates for the game no longer in a 11 day cycle unless stated otherwise and just please be patient with the game as I will try to in my power to find time to keep adding update even if its just two lines of bug fixing or new complete content added into the game.
P.S with the new updates in place there will be more detail into the explain of cause of issue with bug fixes as well as being more presentable with more images/gifs/videos of the newer content added into the game. I want as my work continues to blossom the explanation of my work process to also replicate the process of new content added to make it easier for people viewing my work.
